The Amazing Thailand Festival

The first Amazing Thailand Festival was held in 1998, followed by the next one in 1999. Since then it takes place every other year and each one has proven to be more succesful than the last. The Festival is organised by the Mudita Trust and Secretts and takes place over the August Bank holiday weekend.

The festival is the biggest cultural event ever staged in Waverley and includes spectacular Thai traditional dances, martial arts demonstrations, fortune tellers, masseurs, processions and colourful markets.

You will find a whole street of food stores set up by famous Thai restaurants and they will cook delicious, authentic Thai dishes and snacks. The festival offers a perfect chance for you to experience Thai culture and Thai quisine in a carnival atmosphere. All the profits from the festival go to the Mudita Trust.

The next Amazing Thailand Festival will be on August Bank Holiday 2009. Hope to see you there!
